Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday announced Chandranna Wedding Scheme for BCs in which the state government will sanction Rs 25,000 for a family in regard to the marriage expenses.
Chandrababu held a review meeting with the officials of the BC Federation, Brahmin and Kapu Corporations at Amaravati where he stated that the government is committed to the welfare of Kapus and mentioned the allocation of Rs 1,475 crore for extending scholarships to Kapu students along with Rs 1,000 crore allocation to the Kapu Corporation.
