Tirupati: Governor of two Telugu states E S L Narasimhan visited Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple in Tiruchanoor on Wednesday and offered prayers.
He was received at the temple with ‘Isthikafal’ welcome in a traditional way by TTD E O A K Singhal, JEO P Bhaskar, CVSO A Ravi Krishna and temple priests.
After darshan. the Governor was honoured with ‘Seshavastram’ and Prasadams of the Goddess. Speaking to the media, the Governor said it gave him happiness to have a darshan of Goddess Padmavathi.
He prayed for the happiness of the people of the two Telugu States. District Collector P S Pradyumna, J C Girisha, Addl CVSO Sivakumar Reddy, Spl Grade Dy EO Munirathnam Reddy and other officials were present.
