Reeling under financial burden, farmer commits suicide in Guntur

In a tragic incident, a farmer committed suicide on Wednesday night in Guntur district.

The incident incident occurred in Pamidipadu village of Nugendla mandal and the deceased, identified as Thota Brahmaiah was reeling under financial crisis due to crop losses.

Unable to deal with the mounting debt burden, the farmer consumed pesticide after all his family members went to sleep on Wednesday.

Police have registered a case in this regard and are investigating.
