Kakinada Civic polls: TDP leading in 17 wards

As the Election Commission officials have begun the counting of votes for the Kakinada Municipal Corporation polls, the initials results are falling in favour of Telugu Desam Party.
As the Election Commission officials have begun the counting of votes for the Kakinada Municipal Corporation polls, the initials results are falling in favour of Telugu Desam Party.
Out of 48 wards, TDP is leading in 17 wards while YSRCP in 6 wards. BJP and others are yet to win any. Counting is underway for remaining divisions at Rangaraya Medical College in Kakinada.
Expressing gratitude to voters for their win, the TDP-elect corporators assured that they would strive for developing Kakinada into a smart city. The TDP leaders thanked Chief Miinister Chandrababu Naidu for his development activities in the Kakinada division.
