AP Resident Commissioner inspects Pattiseema Project
Praveen Prakash, Resident Commissioner of Andhra Pradesh in Delhi, said that he would be visiting 45 irrigation projects in the State which are being constructed with Centre’s aid. He visited Pattiseema Lift Irrigation Scheme at Pattiseema, delivery point at Itukalakota on Friday. He enquiredwith Irrigation SE VS Ramesh Babu about the working condition of the PLIS. He visited Pattiseema Lift Irrigation Scheme at Pattiseema, delivery point at Itukalakota on Friday. He enquiredwith Irrigation SE VS Ramesh Babu about the working condition of the PLIS. He, later visited the Polavaram project and examined the spillway works.
Speaking to media, the resident commissioner said that he had inspected the ongoing works of Polavaram and would inspectall the remaining irrigation projects in three months. Prakash said he would also visit PetroleumUniversity camp at Kakinada soon. East Godavari Collector K Kartikeya Mishra and Rajahmundry Municipal Commissioner Jayaramaraju were present.
