The government is organising the National Eye Donation Fortnight from August 25 to September to create awareness on eye donation and to make India free from cornia blindness. As part of the awareness programmes, the Minister participated in the rally and said that eye donation is a great work, which every person can do after their death. He asked the people to pledge to donate their eyes which will bring eye sight to the blind people.
