Gowtham Reddy’s remarks are personal: Parthasarathy

Vijayawada: YSRCP official spokesperson Kolusu Parthsarathy said on Sunday the remarks made by YSRCP Vijayawada leader P Gowtham Reddy on Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga and other family members were his personal and the statements have no way connected to the party.

Responding to the comments made by Gowtham Reddy and subsequent events unfolded in the city on Sunday, Parthasarathi said the YSRCP would condemn such statements or remarks on Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga. He said that he would personally admire V M Ranga and the party would not tolerate such comments against the great leader. He has categorically made it clear that statement of Gowtham Reddy was purely his personal.

Meanwhile, P Gowtham Reddy, who is in the eye of the storm, said that the news channel, which interviewed had not broadcast the entire episode of the interview, and partially broadcast which is misleading. He said the channel broadcasted only part of the interview which was incorrect.

Kapunadu leaders condemned the statements made by P Gowtham Reddy. Kapunadu leaders Naraharisetty Srihari and others addressing a media conference at the Press Club on Sunday said they would not tolerate such comments on Ranga. They demanded that P Gowtham Reddy tender an unconditional apology for making harsh comments against Ranga. They said the Kapunadu has condemned the remarks.
