Minor Girl gang-raped in Seethanagaram mandal
A school girl was found dead in a pond at Seethanagaram mandal of Vizianagaram on Saturday. Police and locals were suspecting that she was gang- raped and killed.

DSP of Bobbil S Sowmyalatha disclosed that M Indumathi of Gadelavalasa village was studying in Zilla Parishad High School and on Friday she went so school but did not return home. But some locals found her body in nearby water tank and informed police. In turn, police rushed to the spot and enquired her parents Srinivasa Rao, Satyavathi and sent the body for pos.tmortem.
Police registered a case and started investigation. But as per information, a four-men gang reportedly consumed alcohol near the high school on Friday and harassed the students till Friday evening. Police caught one of the members in the gang and interrogated. Later, all the four were taken into custody.
