Vijayawada: CPI State Secretary K Ramakrishna came down heavily on the BJP for not allocating berths to MPs of two Telugu States in the recent Cabinet reshuffle.

He said earlier the BJP cheated Andhra Pradesh by not according Special Category Status and now failed to accommodate leaders from the two States in the Cabinet reshuffle.

In a press release here on Monday, the CPI leader said though the Central government is a coalition, it just looks like a BJP government.

He questioned what the alliance partners will tell people on the stubborn attitude of the BJP. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is implementing anti-people’s policies quoting implementation of GST and demonetisation of high value notes as examples.

He felt people would teach a lesson to the parties having an alliance with the BJP if they don’t hit back at the BJP for its unilateral policies and neglecting the coalition partners.
