Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu warned the rank and file of Telugu Desam Party not to be overconfident based on the recent Nandyal by-election and Kakinada municipal election.Addressing the party leaders, who worked in the recent Nandyal and Kakinada polls at a private resort here on Monday, he said that every election was crucial to party.

He asked the leaders gear up and be ready by December 2018 to win all seats in 2019 general elections.“The recent Nandyal and Kakinada election results have filled confidence among the investors,” Naidu said and asked the party leaders to stall plans of Opposition party to defame the government.

“The aim of the rank and file of the party should be thumping victory in next general elections and should make all out efforts in that directions,” he instructed. Besides, the Chief Minister congratulated the leaders for working hard in the election, while he asked them to continue the same tempo up to next elections.

On this occasion, party general secretary and information technology and rural development minister Nara Lokesh gave a power point presentation on public management and political management. Party state president Kala Venkata Rao, several ministers and senior leaders were present. Meanwhile, the party leaders have decided to continue the ongoing workshop in Vijayawada city for the second day on Tuesday.
