Vijayawada: Telugu Desam senior leader NMD Farooq said the recent Nandyal by-election proved wrong the Opposition’s campaign that Muslims were against Telugu Desam.
Speaking to media persons at Mangalagiri here on Monday, he said that the council chairman post has been assured for minorities, He said that he has been continuing in the party from the NTR regime and already he was respected with several posts. He also said that he would make all efforts to strength the party in the state.
