Srikakulam: Deployment of police force is not at all correct at Vamsadhara project affected villages for the last several days opined YSRCP district president, Reddy Shanthi. She submitted a memorandum to district collector, K. Dhanunjaya Reddy at grievances cell at Srikakulam on Monday. On the occasion she found fault with the government for creating fear among displaced people by using police force who sacrificed their fertile farm lands and their houses for the project.
She appealed to state government through district collector to clear all pending payments regarding rehabilitation and resettlement (R&R) package as early as possible. She asked the collector to clear payments for construction of houses for displaced people and provide facilities at R&R colonies then the displaced people are ready to vacate their villages she explained.
