Miraculous escape for 40 as bus rolls into valley

As many as 40 passengers on board of an Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus had a narrow escape on Tuesday. According to the available information, an RTC bus of Banaganapalle Depot with 40 passengers on board was heading to Owk from Uppalapadu village.

When the bus reached Peddamma Cheruvu, where the bus has to pass a blind curve, the steering of the bus got dislocated, it is said. With this the driver of the bus lost control and eventually the bus rolled into a 20 ft gorge of Owk Reservoir. All the passengers had a narrow escape from a grave disaster and they all breathed a sigh of relief, stated the source.
