Missing girls traced
The city police tracked the three Class IX girls of Puchalapalli Sundarayya Municipal High School who did not return home on Tuesday.
Vijayawada: The city police tracked the three Class IX girls of Puchalapalli Sundarayya Municipal High School who did not return home on Tuesday.
According to police, the three minor girls were reprimanded by parents even though they were busy on a project work. Hurt by parents’ attitude, the girls left home. When the girls failed to come back home, the parents lodged a complaint with Nunna police.
The police took the version of classmates, head-master and parents as part of the probe. Within five hours, the cops traced the girls and handed them over to their parents. The police advised the parents to move friendly with their children as there were chances of their hurt feelings compel them to take the extreme step. They should also be in touch with teachers and enquire about the progress in their studies, the police said during counselling.
