Nannapaneni condemns Gauri Lankesh’s murder
Andhra Pradesh Mahila Commission chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari on Wednesday condemned the brutal murder of senior journalist and activist Gauri Lankesh in Bengaluru on Tuesday night. She said Gauri Lankesh is well-known journalist and her murder must be condemned by everyone.
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Mahila Commission chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari on Wednesday condemned the brutal murder of senior journalist and activist Gauri Lankesh in Bengaluru on Tuesday night. She said Gauri Lankesh is well-known journalist and her murder must be condemned by everyone.
Rajakumari demanded that the government should arrest and punish the culprits who murdered Gauri Lankesh. Nannapaneni Rajakumari addressed a media conference at the state guest here on Wednesday. She said journalism has no caste, creed and religion and scribes take many pains to report events and they need protection.
She said journalists are like a bridge connecting the government and the people. On Cabinet reshuffle, she congratulated Nirmala Sitaraman, who was elevated to Defence Minister’s post.
