Cash bag with Rupees 50,000 snatched
Unidentified persons snatched a bag containing cash from a private employee near Talasila hotel area on the railway station road here on Wednesday.There was Rs 50,000 in the bag, as reported in the police station by the complainant.

According to the Fourth Town police, D Venkatesh (20), a private employee from a food products manufacturing company of the city, had gone to a bank at Dabagardens and withdrew Rs 50,000.
When he was returning to office via station road two unidentified persons came on a motorcycle and snatched the bag from his shoulder and overtook him.
As per the complainant, the person driving the motorcycle wore a helmet, while pillion rider did not. After registering a case, the IV Town police launched investigation. They are checking out their images on the CCTV cameras put on the station road.
A case has been registered under sec 382 of IPC. Investigation is on.
