Nellore: The police arrested the gunman Nagendra on the charges of showing negligence in handling the AK-47 rifle which led to killing of driver Ramesh, who was working for Additional SP Sarath Babu.
The police took Nagendra into custody on Wednesday after checking CCTV visuals and corroborating with the oral statements of the accused. Later, the accused was sent to remand. It may be recalled that driver of the Additional SP was killed with bullets fired from AK-47 rifle of Nagendra on Saturday night.
