DGP N Sambasiva Rao plays good Samaritan

Vijayawada: DGP N Sambasiva Rao played a good Samaritan role and helped accident victims reach hospital during his journey at Khandavalli village of Peravali mandal in West Godavari on Thursday. The DGP found a seven-year-old boy crying for help with hand got fractured and parents in shock after their bike rammed a roadside tree.

Y Venkata Durga Prasad of Mandapet village along with his wife and son were on their way to Mandapet from Chintalapudi. Enroute at Khandavalli, he lost balance due to scorching sun and hit a roadside tree. The DGP, who was on his way to Rajamahendravaram on official work, observed the victims and helped them reach Tanuku hospital. The boy and his parents are out of danger.
