Vijayawada: YSRCP Central constituency incharge Vangaveeti Radhakrishna has demanded that the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu conduct inquiry on the recent misbehaviour of city police with the former MLA and his mother Vangaveeti Ratnakumari and take action on the police personnel for the rude behaviour of dragging her on the road.

He said the police unnecessarily arrested him when he was going to conduct a press meet after the Party leader P Gowtham Reddy made derogatory remarks on former MLA Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga. He said the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has not even conducted inquiry on the incident what happened in Vijayawada three days ago.

Radhakrishna addressing a media conference at the District party office on Wednesday said the YSRCP Chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had suspended the party leader P Gowtham Reddy when the latter made objectionable comments against Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga but the TDP Chief is not taking action on the party leaders, who spoke against him or the party. He questioned why Chandrababu Naidu had not taken action on J C Diwakar Reddy when he spoke against the party.

Radhakrishna has alleged the Chief Minister has no control on the police department. He further said he would start a legal battle on the issue and added that Vijayawada Bar Association has extended support to Vangaveeti Ratnakumari over the misbehaviour of some police personnel.
