Five-hour jam infuriates people
Movement of vehicular traffic has been affected for well over five hours, on Atmakuru-Dornalaghatroad as a heavy container vehicle, bound for Guntur, got stuck in the middle of the road because of a technical problem.

Children and senior citizens faced hardships because of the official apathy in getting the traffic jam cleared. Vehicles bound for Amaravati and Kurnool were stranded. Unable to do anything, people travelling by the vehicles had to spend time in the Nallamala forest.
The Atmakuru RTC depot did not rise to the occasion by sending additional buses. Though the matter was conveyed to the RTA officials, no official did turn up till 1 pm. The children and the senior citizens had to go without food and water for about five hours. The traffic has been cleared after five hours.
