Maoists burn four vehicles in Vizag

Maoists staged an attack on vehicles in Visakhapatnam district on Thursday night. Maoists set fire on four vehicles being used for laying roads in G Madugula mandal near Noormati.

The vehicles were being kept in the village to lay a road between Pulusumamidi Ghati and Vakapalli.

In another incident, a bus was also stopped near Todempara village in the Bijapur district of neighbouring Chhattisgarh. The maoists set the bus on fire after asking the passengers to get down. The bus was completely burnt in the incident. The police reached the spot and are investigating.
