Vizianagaram: Minister for human resources development Ganta Srinivasa Rao asserted that he has no differences with the Union minister for civil aviation P Ashok Gajapathi Raju.

Addressing media after taking part in party coordination committee meeting, here on Wednesday, the HRD minister said that Ashok Gajapathi Raju was a senior politician and everyone in the party respects him.

“I have plans to contest from Vizianagaram district and our aim is to win all the 11 MLA seats in 2019 Assembly elections. As in-charge minister, it is my responsibility to win all seats in the district. Minister for panchayat raj and IT N Lokesh will visit the district on September 12 and 13. He will also take part in ‘Intintiki Telugu Desam’ programme, which will start on September 11.” Ganta informed.

Coming down heavily on YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Ganta said that the Opposition leader’s demeanour and speeches are terrifying public, apart from raising doubts about his psychological condition.

“The party is going to lose its Opposition status. It lost Nandyal by-polls despite, Jagan staying in Nandyal and campaigning for two weeks. In 2019, it will be a repeat of Nandyal,” he maintained.

ZP chairperson Dr S Swathi Rani, MLAs K Appala Naidu, K Lalitha Kumari, M Geetha and others accompanied the minister.
