Participating as s chief guest at the round-table meeting organised by Samajika Hakkula Vedika, Dalita Hakkula Porata Samiti in Eluru on Garagaparru Dalits problems, Ramakrishna said that even after five months of the social boycott in Garagaparru village, no assurances given by the Ministers and officials were fulfilled.
Out of 310 Dalit families in the village, only 265 families have been sanctioned benefits and did not care about the remaining 45 families. “It is an injustice. They should also get the benefits announced by the Ministers team. They should also get the compensation based on their identity card they had”, he demanded.

The CPI leader said that Ambedkar not confined to Dalits only and he belongs to all sections of people. He said the removal of Ambedkar statue in the village is nothing but a terrible incident and demanded the State government reinstall the statue by September 16 in the village. We will reinstall the statue in the village on September 16, even there might be barriers and obstructions created by the State, he said.
