AP Speaker Kodela calls for people to use water carefully

Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao on Friday participated in Jalasiriki Harathi at Madalam of Muppalla mandal in Guntur district.

Calling upon people to use water judiciously, the Speaker advised the villagers to use water carefully particularly when the Telugu states are fighting for their share in rivers.

Pointing out that the rain water, the state receives in 35 days should be utilized for 365 days for multiple purposes, Kodela Siva Prasad further urged the public to dig soak pits in order to recharge groundwater levels and also to conserve existing water.
