Vijayawada: The State executive meeting of APJAC has unanimously passed a resolution requesting the government to announce formation of 11th Pay Revision Commission.

The meeting was presided over by APJAC chairman P Ashok Babu at NGO Bhavan here on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Babu promised that he would mount pressure on state and central governments to bring in old pension scheme in place of Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS).

He claimed that the JAC had achieved family pension, gratuity, earned leave orders for teachers, health cards, 20 per cent house rent allowance to employees working at Machilipatnam, Chittoor and Srikakulam district headquarters. The JAC was demanding that the government pay 10th PRC arrears, DA for January and July 2017 immediately.

The meeting was attended by N Chandrasekhar Reddy (NGO Association), N Raghurami Reddy (APTF), K Kamalakara Rao (PRTU), UV Bhaskara Rao (public sector), U Kullayappa (Class IV), BandiSrinivasa Rao (Irrigation), Sk Riaz Ahmed (Panchayat Raj), D Mani Kumar (Transport), KVV Bhaskara Rao (Regitration), Srinivasa Kumar (ITI) and others.
