Amaravati: Amaravati Development Corporation (ADC) is gearing up for construction 34 roads with utility infrastructure in new capital city, Amaravati. The ADC is reportedly ready to issue E-procurement tender notice on Monday for 14th package with cost of around Rs 900 crore.

The ADC is accelerating works relating to infrastructure such as seed access road and seven priority roads despite hurdles due to non-completion of land acquisition. AP Capital Region Development Authority have to complete the task of land acquisition and hand over the lands to ADC to speed up the works.

The ADC is now inviting E-procurement tenders for investigation, detail design, construction of smart trunk infrastructure with roads, storm water drains, water supply network and sewerage network. It is inviting tenders for works of utility ducts for power and ICT, reuse water line, pedestrian tracks, cycle tracks, avenue plantation and street furniture.

Tenders have been inviting for separate packages for various roads and the above mentioned works have to be taken up along with seven priority roads in capital city. The ADC has already invited tenders for 13 package works worth around Rs 6,000 Cr.

The seven priority roads are divided as E-08, N-09, 04, 14, E-10, 14 and 16. The E-08 road will be constructed from Krishnayapalem to Nekkalu with a length of 14.95 km under package one.

The ADC divided the seed access road as two packages. Under fist package, road will be taken up between Venkatapalem to Dondapadu (18.27 km) and it will laid from Venkatapalem to Kanakadurga Vardhi via Undavalli (3.03 km) under second package.
