Talking to the media here on Saturday, District Collector Pravin Kumar said innovations from around 30 countries would be presented at the fair, which is open to public, including students and entrepreneurs.

Later, Indian Innovators Association president AS Rao said the fair focuses will be on manufacturing technology with patents and helps the visitors to understand new technologies from across the world. On the second-day of the fair, there will be also an international workshop on 'Supporting Innovative Entrepreneurs and Role of Technology Transfer' by United Nation's Asian and Public Centre for Technology Transfer (APCTT) which could be attended by registered candidates.

AP Innovation Society CEO and Prof V Valli Kumari said they have shortlisted the 150 students for hackathon event after conducting screening test to 500 registered and interested students. "In the three days, those selected students are supposed to come up with technological solutions for the citizen-centric issues flagged.

As part of the event, awards would be given to the winners of hackathon as well as gold, silver, bronze medals for the best innovations.

According to the Collector, the event would be inaugurated by International Federation of Inventors Association president Alireza Rastegar. IT Minister Nara Lokesh will attend the event on second day, while the Chief Minister would be present for the valedictory ceremony on Monday.
