Service to humanity is service to God: Sidda Raghavarao

Ongole: The Viswasevika Trust, which runs an old age home in Ongole, observed the seventh death anniversary of Narahari Vimalamma, donor of its building by felicitating the prime donors at a thanksgiving function here on Friday. Minister for Forests and Environment Sidda Raghavarao and Ongole MLA D Janardhan were among those who were felicitated on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Raghavarao said, “These members are running a good organisation for the past 22 years and providing accommodation for all women irrespective of castes. They are setting a good example for all of us that service to humanity is service to the Almighty. The Trust members are doing an excellent service and I promise to offer any help required for them through the government and personal level.”

Janardhan said, “When we are doing good work, the society will automatically extend its hand to help us. I appreciate the work done by the Trust and expect a lot of service from them in future. We are ready to help the Trust always, as in the previous times.”

Founders of the Trust M Lalitha Devi and T Lakshmi Narasamma outlined the activities of the Trust which was set up in the year 1995.  The Trust members felicitated Siddha Raghavarao and his wife Lakshmi Padmavathi and Damacharla Janardhan and his wife Naga Satyalatha along with the other donors.
