Teachers told to treat children with utmost care
Members of Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada (IWCV) felicitated 19 teachers with ‘Nation Builder Awards’ at Vasavya Mahila Mandali (VMM) near Benz Circle here on Friday to mark the International Literacy Day.
Vijayawada: Members of Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada (IWCV) felicitated 19 teachers with ‘Nation Builder Awards’ at Vasavya Mahila Mandali (VMM) near Benz Circle here on Friday to mark the International Literacy Day.
IWCV former president and Zonal Literacy Coordinator Saritha was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, she asked teachers to treat all the students equally with love and affection without showing any discrimination. She also said teachers would remain role models for students.
IWCV District Chairperson V Sri Devi and IWCV Jubilee president G Rashmi said teachers should mould the future citizens. Club Secretary Mani Prabha gave welcome address.
Club Literary coordinator introduced awardees. Club members Rani, Lakshmi, Vijaya Sri Gupta, Uma Maheswari, Lalitha and others were present.
