Kakinada: Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that special measures were being taken to develop the IT Sector in the State. He flagged off two buses with trained personnel from Pithapuram constituency, who were going to Sri City in Nellore for jobs in Fox Conn and TVS at his camp office at Timmapuram near Kakinada.

Speaking on the occasion, Yanamala said that highest priority was being given to IT sector. “I and my Cabinet colleagues are discussing new youth policy and we will announce it soon,” he informed and added that there were plenty of opportunities for development of IT in Vijayawada, Nellore, Tirupati and Visakhapatnam.

The Finance Minister claimed that the TDP has provided as many as 40,000 jobs so far. “We are striving to develop both public and private sectors with equal pace,” he stated. Earlier, the Minister along with Pithapuram MLA SVSN Varma and East Godavari Collector Kartikeya Mishra interacted with the trained personnel in the bus and advised them go ahead in their careers by working hard.

VIKASA project director VN Rao stated that have selected a total of 190 youth for FOX Conn and TVS in Sri City, Nellore. “155 candidates are from Pithapuram constituency, 26 candidates are from Peddapuram constituency and 9 candidates are from Tuni constituency,” he informed.

The selected candidates will get Rs 9,500 as salary in training period and after training, they will get a salary of Rs 15,000 with a free accommodation.
