Maoists terrorising tribals, says DSP Mahendra Mathe
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Paderu Sub-division) Mahendra Mathe said the Maoists torched earth movers only to terrorise the tribals as the trial into the alleged gangrape case would begin soon.
Visakhapatnam: Deputy Superintendent of Police (Paderu Sub-division) Mahendra Mathe said the Maoists torched earth movers only to terrorise the tribals as the trial into the alleged gangrape case would begin soon.
He said Peda Bayulu area committee activists and militia members entered G Madugula mandal and torched two earth movers at Nurmati and two more at Pulusumamidi village on the outskirts at around 11pm on Thursday night.
“The Maoists have committed such act very near to Vakapalle village and this is to frighten the villagers of Vakapalle, as the trial for the alleged gangrape case would begin soon. If the villagers appear before the trial, then the truth behind the alleged gang rape would come out”, said MahendraMathe.
He added that the work equipment have been engaged for Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) laying work of GMadugulapolice station in the Agency by the Bharat Broadband Nigam Limited, is meant to provide internet service for education of children. With these acts, the Maoists are creating distance between students and the education, he added.
