Imposes ban on movement of vehicles from September 11 to December 31 to complete the works

Expressing displeasure on construction company Soma which had taken up the project, Naidu directed the company to complete project by engaging more number of workers. The Chief Minister also taken a decision to close Durga temple road from September 11 at 6 am to December 31 for avoiding interruption from traffic. Besides, he clearly instructed the officials to allow the Durga temple devotees from September 20 to September 30 in view of forthcoming Dasara celebrations.

Naidu directed the officials to strictly implement ban on movement of vehicles by not allowing passes to anyone. Permanent barricades should be erected on the way to both sides, he instructed. On the other hand, the meeting also taken a decision to stop water release to Krishna Eastern canal from November 15 to January 15 and February 1 to March 31 in 2018. An electricity substation also would be shifted from the area to continue works at project site.
