Delay in announcement of corporation for Arya Vysyas flayed

Vijayawada: Members of Andhra Pradesh Arya Vysya Corporation Sadhana Samiti staged Gandhigiri protest at Gandhi Park in One Town demanding that the state government create the corporation by Dasara.

They assembled at the park here on Sunday and flayed the delay in formation of the corporation. They flashed portraits of Gandhiji and submitted a memorandum to the statue of Gandhi on the premises of the park.

Speaking on the occasion, samiti state president Konijeti Ramesh said that even though Nandyala by-election was over, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was delaying announcement of the corporation.

The inordinate delay in formation of the corporation was hurting the feelings of the Arya Vysyas. It was unfortunate that the Chief Minister was keeping mum over the issue despite support from all parties for the creation of the corporation.

Chief guest and Arya Vysya Seva Dal state president Ch Maheswara Rao said that the Chief Minister should fulfil the promise without fail. There was no point in delaying the formation of the corporation, he said.

Samiti state general secretary VVK Narasimha Rao, leaders N Pradeep, P Srihari, S Suryanarayana, Subba Rao, D Krishna Rao, P Sai Ram, Bulli Babu and others were present in the protest.
