GITAM students’ Swachh Bharat at Tenneti Park
Students under the guidance of faculty of NSS Unit-V of GITAM University on Sunday at Tenneti Park conducted Swachh Bharat programme. The littered garbage inside and around the park was cleared and disposed. Speaking on the occasion, Principal of GIT Prof K Lakshmi Prasad explained about the importance of cleanliness in the daily life.

He also motivated the students to conduct such events to create awareness among the public about the importance of Swachhatha in daily life. NSS Coordinator of GITAM University G Veereswara Swamy explained the role of students in the National Service and its prominence.
NSS programme officers encouraged the students to participate as well as organise such events frequently. Professors K Lakshmi Prasad, K Veera Bhadram, U RatnaKumari, B Suri Babu Naick, Khwajamuinnudin Chisti and B Ravi Kiran were also present.
