Kadapa: Marketing Minister C Adinarayana Reddy on Sunday called upon party rank and file to take the government welfare schemes and development works to the door steps of beneficiaries. Addressing a meeting over the implementation ‘Intintiki TDP’ at Kadapa here on Sunday, he said that the party workers would play crucial role in taking the several welfare schemes launched by the government for the benefit of targeted beneficiaries.
In the wake of 2019 elections approaching, he said that party cadre should be in touch with every family member in their respective constituency and explain about the government schemes and programmes.
Stating that people have lost confidence on the YSR Congress Party, he said it was proved in the recent Nandyal byelection, where TDP won with thumping majority.
He alleged that YSRCP Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy was trying to mislead the people by provoking them with his speeches on various issues. Unable to digest the recent defeat in Nandyal bypolls, YSRCP threatened the Badwel MLA T Jayaramulu of dire consequences in social media, he said. The Minister said that issue has already brought to the notice of DGP and action will be initiated against the accused soon.
