Wheel chair granted to needy child
District Collector Kartikeya Mishra granted a wheel chair to a girl child suffering from lack of growth here on Monday. Collector Mishra granted a wheel chair worth Rs 5,500 to the differently-abled female child Navya Mary. Navya’s mother P.Latha said she applied for it in grievance cell long before.

On Monday she met the Collector and told him that her child Navya is 12 years of age and she lacks appropriate growth fit for her age and is suffering from Osteoporosis. She also told the Collector that Navya is studying in class VI. Latha further said that it is difficult to carry her daily to the school where she studies.
Latha urged the Collector that provision of a wheel chair would be very useful for her and her child. Mishra immediately responded and ordered the concerned officials to procure a new wheel chair from SSA Funds. Mishra handed over the chair to Navya and blessed her .
