International aqua exhibition from today
International aqua meeting and exhibition will be held at PWD Grounds in the city from September 15 to 17, said fisheries department commissioner Ramashankar Naik. Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, he said the aim of meeting and exhibition is to create awareness among the aqua farmers in the state.

Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, he said the aim of meeting and exhibition is to create awareness among the aqua farmers in the state.
Especially, farmers need awareness on the use of technology for getting more production, he said.Nearly, 110 companies of aqua related industries would display their products in the exhibition, he said and added that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the exhibition on Friday.
Later, several experts in the aqua field will deliver lectures. The commissioner requested the aqua farmers to utilise the opportunity to get more knowledge in aqua culture. Several ministers and officials of various departments will attend the exhibition.
