Bank of Baroda Deputy regional head Shailendra Kumar Singh felicitated Andhra University students, who secured the highest marks in MA Hindi examination here at campus seminar hall on Thursday, to mark the Hindi Diwas.

Visakhapatnam: Bank of Baroda Deputy regional head Shailendra Kumar Singh felicitated Andhra University students, who secured the highest marks in MA Hindi examination here at campus seminar hall on Thursday, to mark the Hindi Diwas.

He also handed over cash prize of Rs 7,500 and Rs 5,000, a certificate signed by the regional head of Bank of Baroda, Visakhapatnam. The bank has been organising ‘Baroda Medhavi Vidyarthi Samman Scheme’ from 2006 onwards to felicitate the best students of different universities across the state, said the deputy regional head.

The scheme is meant to build up a positive atmosphere towards the use and promotion of official language Hindi.
