Dispose family cases fast: HC Judge
High Court Judge Justice U Durga Prasad Rao has urged the advocates and judges to ensure speedy disposal of the cases related to the long pending family disputes in the interest of litigants. Addressing the participants of the workshop, Durga Prasad said delay in disposing cases lead to unrest among the litigants resulting in the increase of crime rate in the society.
Kadapa: High Court Judge Justice U Durga Prasad Rao has urged the advocates and judges to ensure speedy disposal of the cases related to the long pending family disputes in the interest of litigants. Addressing the participants of the workshop, Durga Prasad said delay in disposing cases lead to unrest among the litigants resulting in the increase of crime rate in the society.
However, the High Court judge opined that cases are pending due to shortage of judges. But, judges should take special steps for finding speedy solutions for family related cases by considering them as noble cause, he stated. “This is high time for judges to concentrate on family related issues,” he said.
On this occasion, speakers in the workshop analyzed the reasons for family disputes. District Judge G Srinivas, judges Vishnuvardhan Reddy and U Prasad, retired judges Yathirajulu, Seshasaina Reddy and advocates were present.
