Two held in cheating case

Visakhapatnam: The fourth town police arrested Rayapu Reddy Nageswar Rao and Rayapu Reddy Ganesh, who were involved in cheating case. According to Fourth Town police Circle Inspector RSatyannarayana, both accused collected Rs 1.5 core from 34 women in Thatichetlapalem area inthe city for the monthly chits.

However, they did not pay the money to chit bidders. A complaint was lodged by V Narsayyamma, a victim of the case. Both were picked up in Thatichetlapalem on Mondayand produced in the court. The magistrate remanded them to 14 days judicial custody.
