As part of his second day tour in the districthe had a darshan of Sun God at Arasavalli and laid the foundation stone forNTR Jal Bhavan at Srikakulam on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion Lokesh explained that Rs 460 crore funds was allotted for water schemesin north coastal AP and will be completed by 2019.’AP state was dividedwith Rs 16,000 crore revenue deficit and we were in worry at that timehow to overcome it. Now we are clearing issues one by one on phasedmanner with coordination of 23 line departments in the state’ Lokeshelaborated.

The minister conducted a review meeting withofficials on development activities for which all peoplesrepresentatives attended. ‘TDP government is committed fordevelopment and welfare of poor as part of it employment guaranteescheme and irrigation project works are going on at brisk pace.

But opposition party are making complaints to central government ondevelopment works as a result we are yet to receive Rs 600 crore fundsfrom Centre’ he lamented. TDP government is planning to improve people’s lives and enable themto get Rs 10,000 monthly revenue for each family Lokesh explained.

He directed officials to prepare plans for development of remote andagency villages on war footing. TDP state president and minister for energy, K KalaVenkata Rao, minister for BC welfare, K Atchannaidu, ZP chair person, Ch Dhanalaxmi, MP, K Rammohan Naidu, whip, K.Ravi Kumar, MLAs, GSSSivaji, G Laxmidevi, K V Ramana, B Ashok, B Ramana Murthy, TDP district president, G Sirisha accompanied the minister.
