Members of Blade Batch made a bid to kidnap an Intermediate student in broad daylight here on Tuesday. According to sources, the girl was on her way when five of the batch intercepted her on bikes near NTR Circle.
Vijayawada: Members of Blade Batch made a bid to kidnap an Intermediate student in broad daylight here on Tuesday. According to sources, the girl was on her way when five of the batch intercepted her on bikes near NTR Circle.
They asked her to occupy pillion rider seat, which she opposed. When the girl protested, they inflicted injuries with a blade. They immediately left the scene. She lodged a complaint with the police along with parents.mThe Patamata police, however, were reluctant to share details.
The Blade Batch is active in the city and known for cruel methods of cutting body with blades. There are about 250 members who were identified working for the group. This is the first time that the batch attacked a college girl. Earlier, the batch attacked lonely persons and others walking during the night. They rob lonely people and inflict injuries if they were opposed from doing so. There are many cases pending against them in many police stations.
