He said people have chosen Telugu Desam Party to be their government after seeing the vivid developments at Nandyal. The voters of Nandyal have taught a good lesson to the opposition party with their valuable votes, said Naidu.

Naidu was saying these words during an open meeting held by the Self Help Groups at Market Yard in Nandyal on Tuesday. The Chief Minister said that he will see that every woman of self-help group gets a minimum of Rs.10000 monthly income. He said for the development of Nandyal around Rs.1660 crore was sanctioned for 285 works and those works would be completed on priority basis. He said out of the sanctioned funds, Renovation of Chama Kalva, road widening, construction of Panchayat raj buildings, Concrete Cement roads, Anganwadi buildings, tap connections to every household and construction of 13000 houses would be taken up, said Naidu.

He assured the people that Telugu Desam party will always stand by the people during their worst times. ‘Despite several problems post bifurcation we have overcome all the hurdles and as assured all the promises are being fulfilled. All the pending projects in Rayalaseema are being taken up to drive out drought from the district. As assured earlier, Rayalaseema would be transferred to Rathanalaseema I am striving to keep up my words’, said the Chief Minister.

He said that Nandyal would be developed as seed hub from where the seed would be supplied globally. He said that he is ensuring that everyone have a house of their own. Power outages have been overcome and every village was made to open defecation free and welfare schemes are being implemented in view of down trodden people.

Out of 100 percent around 58 percent people are happy with the schemes and the remaining 42 percent are facing some problems and they would be given a solution after pursuing the problems they are exercising, said Chandrababu Naidu. He said that he is going to conduct a review meeting every month to study the problems of Self Help Groups on how to enhance their income. He said financial assistance of Rs.50000 is being extended to 20000 members.

Later he extended loans of Rs.7.90 crores to 107 women self- help groups. Prior to this Naidu inaugurated a garment manufacturing unit that would be constructed with a cost of Rs.6 crores. Tourism Minister, Bhuma Akhila Priya, Nandyal Parliament Member, SPY Reddy, MLC, NMD Farooq, Nandyal MLA, Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy, District Collector, S Sathyanarayana and others participated and spoke on the occasion.
