Sports to get top priority
State Assembly Speaker Dr. Kodela Shiva Prasada Rao inaugurated the 63rd State- level school football and fencing tournament for the Under -17 (boys and girls) held at the Kodela Shiva Prasada Rao Municipal Stadium in Narasaraopet town on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that all the players should try to get first prizes in the competitions and excel in sports. He urged the players to draw inspiration from PV Sindhu, Karanam Malleswari, Hari Krishna and Srikanth and make the State proud.
He outlined the steps taken by Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu to encourage the players. He said that the State government would setup mini-stadia in all the Assembly constituencies in the State. Narasaraopet Municipal chairman Subbaraya Gupta, Municipal Commissioner Bhanu and others were present,.
