Complimenting the displays by various departments in the mega exhibition at Kalyana Vedika, TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal said that they are not only excellent but very informative to the pilgrims.
Tirumala: Complimenting the displays by various departments in the mega exhibition at Kalyana Vedika, TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal said that they are not only excellent but very informative to the pilgrims. The mega exhibition in connection with annual Srivari Brahmotsavams was inaugurated by TTD EO along with Tirumala JEO KS Srinivasa Raju and CVSO Ake Ravikrishna on Saturday.
After taking a whirl wind visit to the mega exhibition, the EO appreciated the works of garden and museum wings, art by children of SV Deaf and Dumb School, and photo exhibition by Ayur, forest and PR wings. Singhal stated the themes carved by the garden wing including the Lava-Kusa episode and Sethu Nirmana in Ramayana, Lakshmi Devi in vegetables, Narasimhavatara in sand art and many more interesting mythological themes which not only attract pilgrims of all ages but enlightens them on these epic stories.
“Similarly, the rare pictures displayed by museum, the photos of past and present of Tirumala by PR department are noteworthy works,” he added. Earlier, the EO also inaugurated media centre in Rambhageecha-2 rest house in Tirumala. Speaking on the occasion, the EO said TTD has made elaborate arrangements for the media in Rambhageecha-2 by installing high speed computers and wi-fi network. TTD PRO T Ravi, SE-2 Ramchandra Reddy and other officials were present.
