Ramineni Foundation to distribute scholarships
Dr Ramineni Foundation, USA, will present Guru Puraskarams to 80 teachers working in the ZPHS, Guru Sanmanams to 58 teachers and Pratibha Puraskarams to 76 students, who scored highest marks in the SSC, the mandal toppers in the SSC public examination this year at a programme to be held in Guntur city on September 26.
Guntur: Dr Ramineni Foundation, USA, will present Guru Puraskarams to 80 teachers working in the ZPHS, Guru Sanmanams to 58 teachers and Pratibha Puraskarams to 76 students, who scored highest marks in the SSC, the mandal toppers in the SSC public examination this year at a programme to be held in Guntur city on September 26.
Addressing a meeting here, Zilla Parishad Chairperson Janimun said since 2001 Dr Ramineni Foundation is giving scholarships to meritorious students studying in the Zilla Parishad High Schools in the district.
She said the Foundation will give scholarships to the all the meritorious students pursuing in the government schools in the district as part of encouragement. She appreciated the Dr Ramineni Foundation for giving scholarships to the meritorious students.
Former Z.P. chairman Pathuri Nagabushanam said that the aim of the Dr Ramineni Foundation is to extend helping hand to the meritorious students in the government schools. He said though Trust Chairman Ramineni Dharma Pracharak is busy in the USA, every year he is coming to Guntur and distributing scholarships to the meritorious students.
