Kurnool: Telugu Desam district president Somisetty Venkateswarlu criticised YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy for flaring up regional differences among people. He found fault with Jaganmohan Reddy for making baseless allegations against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

The TDP leader stated that Naidu is striving relentlessly to provide water for Rayalaseema region. Somisetty flayed the YSRCP chief for unable to digest the fact that the Chief Minister is supplying water to Kadapa district from Pothireddypadu regulator.

“People of Kadapa are happy for getting water to irrigation and drinking needs,” he added and said that the Opposition leader is trying to defame the Chief Minister as he is feeling insecure with the TD rule. He advised Jagan to mend his attitude or else to face the consequences. Somisetty said that it is very unfortunate that Jaganmohan Reddy did not mend his ways even after losing Nandyal by-poll.

He alleged that the YSRCP chief is obstructing the development in the State. He asked the YSRCP leader to extend cooperation for construction of state capital. Kurnool MLA SV Mohan Reddy also blamed Jagan for his baseless comments against the Chief Minister. Prior to speaking to the media, Somisetty, SV Mohan Reddy and other party leaders have burnt an effigy of YS Jagan in front of the TDP office on Saturday.
