Miscreants attack YSRCP leader in Visakhapatnam

YSRCP leader Pilla Venkateswara Rao in the late hours of Monday was attacked by two miscreants as he entered his house in Visakhapatnam.

The miscreants even tried to slit his throat but fled the house when the driver and followers interved after the family members raised alarm.

Both the YSRCP leader and the driver sustained injuries in the attack and are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Police have registered a case and are investigating.

Venakateswara Rao is a port contractor in Gajuvaka.
