IGBC rating for Sachin’s adopted village

Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), arm of the Confederation Of Indian Industry (CII), had accorded ‘IGBC Gold’ rating with 61 credits to Sachin Tendulkar adopted village P R Kandriga, said the Joint Collector A.Md.Imtiaz Ahmed. The CII had selected eight villages in eight states across the country, he added.

Interacting with the media persons here on Tuesday, Ahmed said that a team of officials from the IGBC had inspected Tendulkar’s adopted village, Puttamrajuvari Kandriga, and provided points in different categories. ‘IGBC had awarded 19 points out of 27 in health and hygiene; 24 points out of 30 in village infrastructure; 4/9 in water conservation and 7/16 in energy Availability and efficiency.
