The response at the meeting to AP’s presentation was impressive wherein more than hundred participants from reputed firms from Singapore in particular and Asia in general have participated.

Various sectors showed interest in investing in Amaravati. Engineering and construction, security services, engineering design, smart city solutions, food processing, water solutions, district cooling, hospitality, electric transport, sustainable energy, Internet of Things, GPS, Asset management, e-commerce and power are among them.

IE Singapore introduced the investors to the AP delegation led by Principal Secretary for Energy, Infrastructure and Investments Ajay Jain. He elaborately presented the investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh, ranked number 1 in ease of doing business in India.

Subsequently, the vision and development strategy involved and opportunities for investment in Greenfield capital city, Amaravati, had been presented by Special Commissioner Rama Manohara Rao. Benjamin Yap from IE Singapore elaborated on the preparatory steps being undertaken by the Singapore Consortium in the master development of start-up area.

APCRDA officials clarified to the investors on the policies of the State government, the institutional mechanism in ease of doing business.

Minister for Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), Singapore, Iswaran, interacted with the delegates of Andhra Pradesh and reiterated his support and cooperation for the development of Amaravati as a smart and livable city.
